Yes. Every new Starter, Pro and Studio subscription includes a 7-day free trial, on monthly and yearly billing. Register and approve your subscription in PayPal to start with £0 due today. You can publish during the trial within your plan’s site limit. PayPal automatically charges the displayed plan price after seven days unless you cancel. You can also build and save guest drafts without signing up.
Do I need to know WordPress?＋
Not at all. Portico handles the setup and gives you a friendly workspace. WordPress is there under the bonnet when you want its flexibility.
Can I bring an existing site?＋
Yes. Every plan includes guided migration tools, and Pro and Studio members can ask our team for hands-on help.
Does WooCommerce cost extra?＋
The WooCommerce toolkit is included with Pro and Studio. Standard PayPal transaction fees still apply to payments you receive.
Can I cancel my membership?＋
Yes. Open PayPal’s Automatic Payments settings and cancel your Portico subscription. Cancel before the seven-day trial ends to avoid the first charge. Cancelling ends trial publishing access; your drafts remain saved. Trial websites need an active paid membership to stay online after the trial.
